I have updated Venis, a Visual Enviornment for Nullsoft Install System.
http://www.spaceblue.com/venis/
Venis incorporates syntax highlighting of key words, captured compile results, standard editing features (find/replace/goto) and more.
Version 1.0.4 adds a wordfile with the latest NSIS 2.0a7 key names for syntax highlighting and a new Function List dialog for easy drag-n-drop programming of typical NSIS functions. Each function is enhanced with a wizard to enter function arguments.
Please visit the Venis site and do not hesitate to give me feedback on features/improvements you would like to see. E-mail: angelo@spaceblue.com
Thanks,
Angelo

I use Venis and it's fine, but sometimes it crashes during coding, is this a known problem?
BTW Venis is much better than HM NIS Edit, .nsi files edited with it don't have regular carriage returns, that makes it incompatible with notepad.
Please contact the author of Venis to report bugs.
I will send an error report to the author when I receive the error again

Hi,
Is Venis still supported and being developed?
Thanks
Scott

My guess would be no.Originally Posted by Yicker View PostIs Venis still supported and being developed?
It should work with NSIS 3 but since it has not been updated in 10+ years I would not exactly recommend it...
I used to be a Venis user myself many years ago. It's 2017 and there are plenty of modern editors that exceed all the features Venis ever had.Originally Posted by Yicker View PostIs Venis still supported and being developed?t
